Wuerttembergische Porzellanmanufaktur Bauer & Pfeiffer was founded in 1904 by CM Bauer and his business partner Pfeiffer in the town of Schorndorf. CM Bauer died in 1905. The factory initially produced tea and coffee sets and dinnerware. From 1910, the production of hotel porcelain also began.
As the company was successful and rapidly growing, it was transformed into a stock company Württembergische Porzellanmanufaktur A.G. In the 1930s, the company ran into financial difficulties and was finally closed in 1934.
