The factory was founded in Kamianyi Brid, which is nowadays located in Ukrainian Volhynia region. Date of establishment is however debatable. According to some sources it could be founded already in 1750s when clay deposits were found in the area.

First owners of the Kamianyi Brid Faience Factory were count Tyszkiewicz and princess Anna Jablonowska. In 1869 the ownership was passed to countess Stroganova. Next owner since 1876 was known businessman A. F. Sussmann.  This year there were 149 employees.  At the end of the 19th century they already used a steam engine in the factory and employement rose to 400.

They produced porcelain and faience but gradually faience production started to dominate, especially after 1892 fire. In 1913 the factory was taken over by a local bank branch. They produced dinerware as well as decorative items and even faience figurines.

In 1916 during WWI another fire destroyed the factory. Serious reconstruction started only in 1926 under the leadership of I.V. Mikheev. During WWII the Kamianyi Brid factory continued production till 1943.

After WWII items produced in Kamianyi Brid lost their individual style. The destroyed production facilities were slowly rebuilt. Prewar production volume was reached only in 1967. in 1976 the company celebrated its centenary. In the year 2000 another modernization was undergoing.
