Druzhkovka Porcelain Factory was built in 1971. First porcelain items were produced in November . It was one of the largest porcelain factories in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic. It was able to produce 25 million porcelain items per year.
Druzhkovka Porcelain Factory produced tee, cofee and dining tableware as well as figurines.
After the proclamation of independence by Ukraine, the state factory was transformed into a limited liability company. Ukraine's accession to the WTO complicated financial situation of the company. The factory managed to recover, partially thanks to a special 35.6% duty on imported porcelain introduced by Ukraine in 2014.
As a result of supported by Russia war in Ukraine, Druzhkovka since 2014 is located in the Donetsk People's Republic, a self-proclaimed state in the eastern Ukrainian Oblast of Donetsk.
