The history of Mitterteich factory starts in 1887. It was established by Ludwig Lindner. In 1895 the factory was taken over by Mosanic Pottery Max Emanuel & Co. from London. The company was confiscated by Bavarian authorities during the World War I. From 1917 it worked as Porzellanfabrik Mitterteich A.G. Number of workers reached 300. Because of rising demand in 1925 was constructed a second facility and another one in 1937.

In 2006 the company seized to exist.
