The Minsk factory history started in 1886 when ceramic tiles production was launched. March 15, 1951, the factory changed name to Porcelain and Faience Factory. That date is considered to be Belarus porcelain date of birth. During the Soviet period, Minsk FFZ produced a wide asortment of porcelain decorative and technical items. In 2009 the factory was definitely closed.
