The artistic plate is 30 cm in diameter. It was created by known Dutch painter Corneille.

The plate is decorated with characteristic for Corneille red fire bird. On both sides of this plate are Corneille signatures.

Cornelis Guillaume van Beverloo was born in 1922 roku in Liege and died in 2010 in Paris. This Belgian born Dutch artist was a co-founder of influential COBRA artistic group. In 1940-43 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Amsterdam but he was largely a self-taught painter.  

Visible on the plate way of painting is typical for his figurative works created after 1960.
